In July 2008 ,  Marco Reinard will ride a racing bike 1000 km nonstop from Bangkok to Phuket, Thailand. This is a solo race against the clock.  There will be no drafting of any kind in this ultra endurance event . www.ultracycling.com < UMCA >

November 2008 departure of epic 8000km journey on 5meter hobie catamaran , Burma to Taiwan via Singapore for global awareness regarding our world’s lakes,rivers and oceans.

On December 26th.07 at 5am Marco paddled 75km from Koh Yao Noi to the Evason Phuket in arecord time of eight hours.This speed crossing was to commemorate all Tsunami victims of Dec.26th.04 and to bring further awareness about the importance of keeping our world’s oceans clean.

Winds from the starboard bow made the 110 km passage quite challenging.

Marco reinard has completed Phi Phi island to Evason Phuket speed crossing . He has covered 24 km in the 1st. 2 hours but then had to paddle against the tide till arrival in Phuket resulting in a total time of just under 8 hours for the 60some km. <52 km straight line>. Continue Reading »

Marco Reinard is planning another Solo 50 km sea kayaking speed crossing from Phi Phi Island to the Evason Phuket. Weather permitting the speed crossing will commence on November 15. click here for photos and information on the first crossing.

September 22, 2007… Phuket Thailand
Marco has completed his 24-hour endurance ride. He covered 522 km over the time period which is believed to be a new mountain bike record for Southeast Asia. Please check back tomorrow for more photos and the full story.

Marco is presently training for an upcoming 24 hour endurance bicycle marathon to be held in Phuket Thailand Scheduled for the 21st of September. Marco will start from Nai Harn lake at 4pm and finish at Nai Harn lake at 4:30 pm Saturday the 22nd. More updates and website improvments in the works.
